To resize the hole

9. Workplane Browser

  1. In the Workplane browser ensure that the tube hole sketch is the active sketch (in bold type)
  2. If not, right click on the sketch in the Workplane Browser and select Activate Sketch
  3. From the View toolbar select the View onto Workplane tool
  4. Choose the Constrain Separation tool
  5. Move over one side of the circle (The circle goes light blue - orange if the line is already selected)
  6. Select the circle by clicking the left mouse button
  7. Select the opposite side of the circle, press, hold and drag the cursor to create the constraint outside the circle
  8. Double-click the left mouse button on the Constraint to open the Properties dialogue window
  9. Enter a diameter of 43mm 

To reposition the tube hole

  1. Choose the Constrain Separation tool
  2. Move over the circle (The circle goes light blue and a small black square indicates the centre of the circle)
  3. Select the circle by clicking the left mouse button
  4. Select the left hand edge of the base, press, hold and drag the cursor to create the constraint below the rectangle
  5. Repeat on the lower edge of the base to create the second constraint to the left of the base
  6. Double-click the left mouse button on the Constraint to open the Properties dialogue window
  7. Enter suitable values to reposition the hole

To update the design

  1. Select the Update tool to update your design changes
  2. Select the Isometric View
  3. You can Manipulate your design by selecting the tool and dragging your design to rotate it
  4. Use the Spacebar on the keyboard to cancel the manipulate mode
  5. Select the Isometric View again
