Workplane Browser |
- In the Workplane browser ensure that the tube hole
sketch is the active sketch (in bold type)
- If not, right click on the sketch in the Workplane Browser
and select Activate Sketch
- From the View toolbar select the View onto Workplane
tool
- Choose the Constrain Separation
tool
- Move over one side of the circle (The circle goes light blue -
orange if the line is already selected)
- Select the circle by clicking the left mouse button
- Select the opposite side of the circle, press, hold and drag the
cursor to create the constraint outside the circle
- Double-click the left mouse button on the Constraint to open the Properties
dialogue window
- Enter a diameter of 43mm

reposition the tube hole

- Choose the Constrain Separation
tool
- Move over the circle (The circle goes light blue and a small
black square
indicates the centre of the circle)
- Select the circle by clicking the left mouse button
- Select the left hand edge of the base, press, hold and drag the
cursor to create the constraint below the rectangle
- Repeat on the lower edge of the base to create the second constraint
to the left of the base
- Double-click the left mouse button on the Constraint to open the Properties
dialogue window
- Enter suitable values to reposition the hole

To update
the design

- Select the Update
tool to update your design changes
- Select the Isometric View
- You can Manipulate your design by selecting the
tool and dragging your design to rotate it
- Use the Spacebar on the keyboard to cancel the manipulate
mode
- Select the Isometric View
again
