To copy
(pattern) a feature - eg a hole

- Choose the Select Features
tool
- Select the hole you wish to copy (as you move over it with the
cursor it will be pre-highlighted in light blue)
- From the Features menu select Pattern

- In the direction box select the Edges
option from the pull-down menu
- In the modelling window select an edge that is parallel to the
direction in which you want to duplicate the hole
- In the Pattern feature box enter a value for the number of instances
and for the spacing between holes - if the spacing box is not visible,
it is because you must have an edge selected to indicate direction
- Check the preview in the modelling window before selecting OK
- You can change the pattern properties by right-clicking the pattern
in the Feature Browser and choosing Redefine

- From the Feature edit toolbar
select the Round
tool
- Enter a value of 3mm in the radius
dialogue box
- Select the five edges shown - use the Shift
key to add edges to the selection
