To save your base design
  1. From the File menu choose Save
  2. Save to your MyWork folder as base
To suppress the round feature

 

  1. From the Feature Browser right click on round1 and select Suppress
  2. Select the Update tool to update your design changes
  3. After exporting the top view in the next step you can un-suppress the round by repeating the above steps

(Suppressing the round feature makes it easier to work with the exported view in the CNC Mill software)

 

To export the top view for CNC milling

 

  1. From the File menu choose New

  2. From the options choose Drawing
  3. In the Specify format box select ISO-A4
  4. From the Drawing menu choose Add Modelling view..
  5. Set the options From Workplane and Workplane: base - select OK
  6. From the File menu choose Export > DXF File...
  7. Select File type option DXF and DWG/DXF file version: AutoCAD R13
  8. Save as top in your MyWork folder
  9. Your design is now ready to be imported into the TechSoft CNC Mill software
